Facility Hire / Room Hire in Wellington City
Are you looking for an inner city venue for a presentation or board meeting in Wellington?
The Business Centre offers a modern facility catering up to 30 table seated, or 50 theatre style.
We run three booking times across the day, 9am to 11am, 12am to 2pm, 3pm to 5pm. Day session bookings are $150 per session. two consecutive sessions can be booked for $250 and all three sessions can be booked for $350 (saving $100)
An evening booking time of 5:30pm to 8:30pm is also available on request (limited availability). Evening session require extended approval as security aspects of the hire need to be considered.
Projector, Whiteboard and Pointers are all included in the price. Tea and Coffee and charged at $2.50 per person. Additional catering and equipment can be provided upon request.
Training Courses in Wellington
If you have a course that you believe our database of small to medium sized Wellington businesses may be interested in - we are willing to work with you. These courses can be either free or charged courses.
Hire Room and Promote Course
Under this option you simply hire the room and we will promote your course with our normal courses mailout campaigns. See above for room hire rates. A flat rate of $150 + GST is incurred for all event promotions. Outside of the rental and promotion cost all proceeds go to you. Note a finance and admin charge is applied where we have to process booking and credit card processing.
Partner with The Business Centre - (Paid Courses Only)
This option is for businesses who are unsure of the demand for their workshop and do not want to risk booking a room and paying for promotion. Under this option the proceeds of the courses are split 50/50 after the cost of room and promotion are deducted. A minimum attendee level will be set based on the course price. If the attendee levels are not met then the course is cancelled.
Be a presenter for our ETP or other Funded Courses
If you are interested is being a regular presenter for our courses funded by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise or our other Corporate sponsored courses then we require that you either run a paid version of your course (see above) or a free version (unsponsored) so we can gain an understanding of the popularity of the topic and so we can have an opportunity to view your presentation and audience feedback.
Promotions to our Database of Wellington Small Businesses
Internal Courses
Advertising any courses offer through The Business Centre (free or paid) costs $150 plus gst per promotion. Courses are promoted to our Wellington Region small businesses based on their preferred email selection.
External Courses
We only advertise/ promote free external courses to our database of Wellington Region small businesses. The same rate of $150 per promotion applies. Courses are promoted to our clients based on their preferred email selection.
Other Promotions
The only other promotions accepted are small business to small business advertising offers. We are happy to support and actively encourage small business to trade with one another where possible.
