Growing Your Business In Tough Times

In a recession - it sounds as though the best option is to dig a big hole and hide in it!
Tough times are a great time to grow your business. You need to remember that not all sectors are affected in the same way and by adjusting your positioning and marketing, it is possible to prosper and to grow your market share. Tough times force unprepared companies to take desperate and often ill considered actions. Smart companies can take advantage of this confusion and turbulence in the marketplace and actually use it as a catalyst for growth. How?

The answer is to be prepared: e.g.

1. Have a Game Plan Ready: Always be prepared, move and shift your thinking.

2. Focus on Marketing: Look for ways to use your marketing budget more wisely.

3. Team Up: Find another company that offers services complimentary to yours and team up.

4. Beef up Customer Service: In tough economic conditions, your current clients become even more golden.

5. Keep your Long Term Goals in Mind: All economic conditions are temporary.

Remember, different economic cycles bring change. And with change comes both the potential for adversity as well as an opportunity for significant financial gains. This workshop will assist you with planning for the future – no matter what it brings!

Guerrilla Marketing- Dare To Win

“Guerrilla Marketing" (also known as Ambush Marketing) was first coined by Jay Conrad Levinson and is an unconventional system of promoting yourself on a very low budget, by relying on time, energy and imagination instead of big marketing budgets. The term has since entered the popular vocabulary to also describe aggressive, unconventional marketing methods.  When implementing guerrilla marketing tactics, small size is actually an advantage instead of a disadvantage. Small businesses and entrepreneurs are able to obtain publicity more easily than large companies; they are closer to their customers and considerably more agile.

Guerrilla marketing identifies with the following principles:
  • Guerrilla Marketing is specifically geared for the small business and entrepreneurs.
  • It should be based on human psychology instead of guesswork.
  • Instead of money, the primary investments of marketing should be time, energy, and imagination.
  • The marketer should also concentrate on how many new relationships are made each month.
  • Create a standard of excellence with an acute focus instead of trying to diversify by offering too many diverse products and services.
  • Instead of concentrating on getting new customers, aim for more referrals, more transactions with existing customers, and larger transactions.
  • Forget about the competition and concentrate more on cooperating with other businesses.
  • Guerrilla Marketers should always use a combination of marketing methods for a campaign.
  • Use current technology as a tool to empower your business.
This very different 3-hour workshop is designed with lots of hands on action, numerous examples and a step-by-step planning guide.

So, if your ordinary marketing just isn’t cutting it then make sure you attend this workshop
