Former TVNZ Presenter Louise Pagonis knows first hand what kind of stories journalists are looking for and she also knows the challenges of getting publicity for your own business.
In this workshop you will be taken through a step by step process of identifying:
• which media outlet would be most suitable for the kind of publicity you need
• how to find a news angle in what's happening in your business
• how to provide a whole package to the media that not only includes a great angle but suggestions on who to interview, where to be photographed, etc.
• the best ways of approaching the media, ie. emails, press releases or phone calls
• how to position yourself as someone the media will come back to again, once they have done a story about you
