Growing Your Business In Tough Times With food prices on the rise, interest rates and petrol prices soaring and talk of a recession – it sounds as though the best option is to dig a big hole and hide in it! But in fact the opposite can be true. Tough times are a great time to grow your business. You need to remember that not all sectors are affected in the same way and by adjusting your positioning and marketing, it is possible to prosper and to grow your market share. Tough times force unprepared companies to take desperate and often ill considered actions. Smart companies can take advantage of this confusion and turbulence in the marketplace and actually use it as a catalyst for growth. How? The answer is to be prepared: e.g. 1. Have a Game Plan Ready: Always be prepared, move and shift your thinking. 2. Focus on Marketing: Look for ways to use your marketing budget more wisely. 3. Team Up: Find another company that offers services complimentary to yours and team up. 4. Beef up Customer Service: In tough economic conditions, your current clients become even more golden. 5. Keep your Long Term Goals in Mind: All economic conditions are temporary. Remember, different economic cycles bring change. And with change comes both the potential for adversity as well as an opportunity for significant financial gains. This workshop will assist you with planning for the future – no matter what it brings!
