Interested in exporting but unsure where to start? This workshop is for you if you have limited export knowledge but can see potential in the international marketplace.
Are you Ready to Export? is designed to give an overview of the export process while providing an assessment of what is required to take on the world.
We’ll answer your questions and throw a few your way, such as: • why export, and is an international audience the best marketplace for your product? • what are your local and international growth opportunities? • how far and how wide do you want to aim?
We’ll also provide you with a few practical techniques, including: • an overview of the realistic side to exporting, such as freight, finance, pricing, packaging, foreign exchange, documentation and terms of sale; • an assessment of export strategy, including research, marketing and promotion; • individual follow-up coaching, available after the workshop

Investment Ready
Small Business Funding & Investment Training is aimed at helping business people learn about the type of finance they require to expand, diversify or commercialise a new concept and how they can access equity funding from investors.
It is offered in a series of fully-funded workshops as part of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) Enterprise Training Programme.
Please note that while the course is separated into two events it is necessary to attend both in order to gain a complete understanding of the process towards being investment ready.
