Irene Ohler

Irene Öhler is the director and founder of iglobal coaching ltd., a consultancy that enables clients to build and maintain successful cross-cultural business relationships – with confidence.

Originally from Austria, she has lived and worked on four continents: in Europe, China, New Zealand and Brazil, where she founded iglobal.

She has 18 years of experience in human resource development as a facilitator, a consultant, a global executive coach, and an entrepreneur in her own rights.

Irene has worked with clients from 17 nationalities, and in a wide variety of organisational settings;from academic institutions in EU countries, multinational companies in China and Brazil – like ANZ,BP, Coca Cola, DuPont, L’Oreal, Siemens - to national Chambers of Commerce and various embassies in Latin America.

In New Zealand Irene presently works with the public sector, business umbrella organizations – like Export New Zealand -, and NZ companies who operate internationally, like Fisher & Paykel
Appliances.

She holds a Masters degree in Sinology (Chinese Studies) from Vienna University, and is a certified
cross-cultural consultant and global executive coach.

Her personal history and her professional expertise make her a natural bridge builder between cultures.
