Session One: Connecting with the Social Media Revolution $199 + gst Wednesday 3rd November, 5.30pm - 7.30pm
We all recognise that Social Media is a global marketing revolution. It has also become a catalyst of massive social change. We use words like 'networked' & 'fans, followers', but the reality is a new kind of tribalism not seen since mankind lived in small villages. How then, do you as a Business, interact with this connectedness?
In this session Hamish will take you through the global repositioning that is occuring to meet this transparent, shape shifting & personal paradigm that is Social Media. You will be introduced to the "new you" - living in a sea of interaction, where everyone is becoming connected with everything, where there will be no privacy & no one will care!
Hamish Clark Hamish co-founded New Zealand’s first fully funded commercial Internet incubator. His role was to identify ideas with global potential and mould these to market opportunities. He runs iMC 2 Limited, a specialist consultancy that offers strategic marketing and business development services to technology-oriented organisations in New Zealand in preparation for offshore market entry. Hamish also co-founded ASENZ LLC, a Texas-based company committed to the growth of online marketing services in North and Central America.
